SCROLL DOWN

Hi, I'm Brian

< Cities, Tech, Social, Design >

ABOUT ME

I've worked in high-finance, academic research, and started my own tech company while attending graduate school.  Today I focus my love for digital technology on the physical world, specifically in discovering new ways we can interact with our physical surroundings and communities.

Over the past few years I've led cross-functional teams -- engineers, architects, financiers, and urban planners -- to develop civic tech solutions addressing the social, environmental, and physical dynamics that shape our cities.

BACKGROUND

I was born into a military family, giving me an opportunity to call home to more states and countries than I can count on two hands.  It was this upbringing that enabled me to see the beauty in every new culture, language, and history I experience today.

Classically trained in capital markets and urban planning I've leveraged my passions of design, coding, and research to continue educating myself on new ways to solve today's wicked problems.

Thanks for stopping by 👍🏻

RevCity

Representing an expansion of previous research, RevCity was born out of continuous exhaustive user research to elicit collaborative storytelling of places, events, and moments that define our surroundings.  It invites city officials and event organizers into the conversation with powerful CRM and AI technology to manage user feedback.

Placemaker

Partnering with Cornell's graduate schools of Information Science and Computer Science, I created, recruited, and oversaw the development of a mobile application enabling citizens to engage in two-way conversations with the city.
